We Love Brian's New Job!!

First of all, I want to point out that both Brian and I are contributors to this blog. This way, I won't be disappointing all those of you who are expecting all the funny stories from our lives (that are usually told through Brian's point of view)!

But the point of this blog is to tell everyone that Brian recently quit his job at Performance Design selling swingsets so he could go back to school (at Weber State University). He got a new job managing a climbing gym and indoor surfing gym in Ogden. This was a wonderful switch for many reasons: First, he doesn't have to travel anymore (which I LOVE!) . . . Second, this new job is only a couple miles from the Weber campus . . . And third, Brian absolutely loves rock-climbing and I don't think he will ever get tired of this job!

But I have to say one of my favorite perks (second to the no-traveling thing) is when we get to use the indoor surfing gym! I'll post pics because I'm terrible at explaining how this thing works. But you should know that the first time we did it, we had so much fun that we went for almost 3 hours straight (and got enough bruises to prove it!). For anyone reading this who lives in the area, I highly recommend this activity! I was skeptical, but I love it (and I hardly notice the millions of people watching from the street windows anymore as I make a fool of myself-- it's so worth it!).
